I had my appointment with the ophthalmologist last Saturday. When I called to schedule it, I told them my insurance was MetLife and that I would handle everything through them. They scheduled the appointment, and even when I arrived, they had me fill out a registration form, where I again indicated that my insurance was MetLife. They performed the tests to determine if I was a candidate for surgery. In total, I paid 2,500 Mexican pesos. At the end of the appointment, the woman who provides information about costs and additional details told me they do NOT have an agreement with MetLife and that the surgery costs 55,000 Mexican pesos. Besides that, the woman's attitude was terrible; her explanation was rushed and very disappointing. They made me pay for the consultation and tests, and then they said they don't have an agreement. Now I have to pay again for the consultation and tests with another ophthalmologist who does work with my insurance. A very bad experience. They are not honest and make you spend double. 👎🏼

Today we went to the doctor for my 3-year-old daughter's appointment. It took two hours to see a doctor, and his demeanor was difficult to describe—very unprofessional, unfriendly, and lacking in empathy. I had to ask his name, which he told me was Héctor Arias, to find out who was seeing us, since when I called I thought we were scheduling with Dr. Curiel (please take this into consideration). We were with him for 5 minutes before he would run tests on my daughter, but after two hours they told us they were out of doctors and that's why the service was taking so long. We left a phone number for this; please inform people about this so they know whether they want to wait hours for an appointment or reschedule. This time I decided to leave since we still had a long wait for the checkup and I didn't want to deal with that doctor's terrible service.
