This is a great place. The doctors are very experienced and attentive. Any concerns or questions you have will be answered by the rest of the staff. They are truly attentive and kind. The receptionists are always helpful and explain everything. The nurses and physical therapists are also very good. Honestly, the entire staff, from the doctors to the doctors, makes the process very manageable and relaxed. It's practically impossible to leave dissatisfied; they give excellent results.

I visited several plastic surgeons: two in the United States and two in Mexico, one of whom was recommended by a friend. I didn't feel comfortable with the two doctors in Mexico, so I turned to Google to read reviews, and that's how I found Dr. Cortés. From the first moment, I was impressed. The clinic was immaculate, and he was the only doctor who provided me with detailed estimates, including prices and everything that was included. When I went for my pre-operative appointment, they again demonstrated excellent organization, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. When choosing a doctor, I was looking for someone who was thorough and attentive to detail. I also wanted someone who would enhance my natural figure, but without exaggerating. I'm now four weeks post-my mommy makeover and back in the United States. I understand that there will still be some swelling for a few more months, but I'm extremely satisfied with the results and the incredible care I received after the surgery. The therapists and staff at the clinic were incredibly kind and helpful. I highly recommend the José Cortés Institute!

Wow, I'm so impressed. In my research, I found that Dr. Cortes is likely the best plastic surgeon in Mexico City. After a video consult with him to discuss goals, I booked the procedure and my flight from the States! His kindness and communication, and hospitality truly, were incredible, far beyond what I expected. I made the trip solo, and he coordinated for me to stay the night at the clinic post-op to ensure I had good care. The later post-op care was incredible too; Arantxa, the physical therapist there, took incredible care of me, with near-daily lymphatic massages. It's only been a week; I'm so excited about the results so far though. Highly recommend!

I found this place online, and after a lot of searching, discarding doctors, their work, results, and positive reviews, I had a couple of appointments with several doctors and decided on Dr. Cortes. I'm truly grateful for everything from the beginning: his explanation during the consultation, the pre-operative appointment, and his entire operating room team is very kind. Paola was excellent with me during the post-operative therapies, and they also have a hyperbaric chamber that greatly helped my recovery. I appreciated that Dulce kept in touch with my follow-up appointments and how I was feeling; it made me feel much more confident. I think it's a perfect place because they make you feel very comfortable, and although undergoing surgery is stressful, they make it much easier. Highly recommended!

Excellent experience! Everyone there is so kind and professional. The whole process was very easy, and I loved the results. I was able to communicate with them throughout the process to ask questions whenever I needed, which helped me feel more at ease. Whenever I arrived for my appointments, I was always seen very quickly. The clinic where the surgery was performed was also excellent; the treatment and care were incredible. I have no visible scars from my facial surgery, so I'm extremely happy. I have absolutely no complaints. If I wanted to have another treatment, I would definitely come back here.

His specialty is definitely not blepharoplasty. He left me with a scar on my upper eyelid due to his terrible suturing. On my lower eyelid, he left me with the bags under my eyes that I went to see him for. I specifically told him that this was my concern, and I still have them. His solution is either for me to pay him for another "corrective" surgery (even though I already know he doesn't know how to do it), or to inject hyaluronic acid, which we all know is terrible. If you want blepharoplasty, definitely don't go to him.

I had rhinoplasty several years ago, and my nostrils are now asymmetrical. I told the doctor about it as soon as I saw it, but he said that's just how my face is. He said that's precisely why you pay for it—to improve the aesthetics of your nose. To be told that after surgery, that's just how your face is, makes me feel like he didn't want to take responsibility for his work. Why didn't he mention this before the surgery? I also breathe better on one side than the other. I would recommend seeing an ENT specialist.

Dr. José Cortés Arreguín performed my surgery, and Dr. Karla Paola López was in charge of my laser sessions and the replacement of micropore tapes to reduce inflammation.
