When several people here say that the doctor lacks tact, doesn't listen, doesn't let you speak, and is in a hurry to finish the consultation, believe me, it's not that the doctor is having a bad day, it's an attitude.

Zero stars for this young man; his consultation leaves much to be desired. The consultation lasts 10 minutes, he rushes through it, doesn't listen, and while pretending to listen, he writes the prescription. He refers you to his colleagues without your request, as if he gets a commission. He doesn't treat hormonal issues; you get better care at the IMSS (Mexican Social Security Institute). I never went back. Fortunately, I did let him know my dissatisfaction and frustration. Terrible service.

I didn't like it 🙁 The appointment isn't cheap enough that they can't even dedicate 20 minutes to you. As soon as I walked in, it seemed like they wanted me out. They told me to take antidepressants and go to the gym and a nutritionist. I understand that's the basics for weight loss, but with hypothyroidism and PCOS, there's a lot of information about how difficult it is to lose weight with just those things, even when thyroid levels are normal. PCOS also has many bothersome symptoms that aren't limited to weight. Anyway, it was their way of telling me, "You have depression, go to a psychiatrist, the gym, and a nutritionist because your thyroid is fine. Questions? No? Bye." Maybe I am depressed, and that's why I didn't like it 🙃

Terrible patient care, if possible I would give 0 stars. I had a scheduled appointment and the doctor was out of town, without the slightest bit of ethics or courtesy to cancel the appointment, and their "brilliant" solution is to schedule an appointment for February, or refer me to 2 doctors, one of whom does not have an endocrinologist's license, and presents herself as one.

Very bad service, my steak with potatoes arrived cold and their soup of the day had a fly in it.
November 26, 2025
Very attentive, he explains any questions you may have.

From the reception they are friendly, the doctor greets you very kindly and gives you a lot of confidence and listens to you. My experience has been very pleasant and I recommend it.

Excellent care from the endocrinologist, very attentive and caring. He has been very supportive, providing medical samples to keep the costs of my family member's treatment down.
October 4, 2025
Refrain from coming for a consultation. He charges 1,500 pesos for a 10-minute consultation and doesn't know how to listen. His response was for me to go to a Psychiatrist after telling him the symptoms I was having. I went to another very good doctor. He gave me medication for my thyroid. I started feeling very well after two weeks. A month later, he ordered another thyroid profile, and the results improved.
September 29, 2025
The consultation was prompt and effective. It's clear the doctor is very well-prepared. He's serious and respectful, and he helped me a lot with my thyroid treatment. I recommend him; the wait for an appointment is worthwhile.

Their receptionist is kinder. She may be very knowledgeable, but I give her zero for empathy. She doesn't let you express your feelings. She shuts you down instantly. That's simply why I didn't feel like going back.

Too expensive for such a short time and with little follow-up

I was just about to make an appointment, but I've seen so many bad experiences that I've decided to look for another specialist...

Excellent and professional doctor. He helped me a lot in getting a SOAP diagnosis and treatment plan. 😀 He explains everything very well.
June 11, 2025
The consultation was very impersonal, very short, the doctor didn't pay attention to my symptoms and barely checked my lab results. She just made a general impression about obesity and prescribed medication for it. I understand that weight management is essential, but for what I paid, I expected better care, empathy, and personalized treatment. I went to another endocrinologist, and she gave me a comprehensive treatment plan based on my symptoms and lab results (including the weight management medication). I'm doing much better with the personalized treatment. Furthermore, there's no open channel for communication, questions, or concerns after the appointment, especially with medication that has strong side effects. It's really necessary to be able to at least send a message to your doctor.

How much does a blood test cost?
Blood test costs in Mexico are significantly more affordable than in the US, typically ranging from $30-150 USD depending on the type and complexity of tests. Basic blood panels like CBC (Complete Blood Count) cost around $30-50, while comprehensive metabolic panels range from $50-80. Specialized tests may cost $80-150. This represents savings of 60-80% compared to US prices, making Mexico an excellent destination for routine blood work and health screenings.
What signals the end of menopause?
Menopause is officially complete when you've gone 12 consecutive months without a menstrual period. Post-menopause begins after this point and continues for the rest of your life. Symptoms like hot flashes and night sweats typically decrease in frequency and intensity during the first few years after menopause. However, some effects like vaginal dryness and bone density changes may persist and require ongoing management.
