I was suffering from horrible menstrual cramps and my flow was incredibly heavy, plus my cycles were completely irregular. My old gynecologist couldn't tell me what was wrong with me, and thank God I met Dr. Andrade. She diagnosed me with PCOS and has helped me so much with my treatment. I love that she explains everything in detail and answers all my questions. ✨

We went to the doctor because we'd decided to start a family, so we wanted to get checked out or do the right thing to make sure we were both healthy. We went twice, and at the first appointment, she removed my device and ordered routine lab tests. At the second appointment, I didn't feel prepared, and she just said we should try and if it doesn't work, she'll come back. She also told me to see an endocrinologist since there was a hormonal abnormality, but she didn't see that. I continued taking my prenatal vitamins, which I'd been taking beforehand. That was in March, and I got pregnant in July. Now, they've just detected an ovarian cyst, which apparently I already had before the pregnancy. Treatment isn't recommended with pregnancy, just care and monitoring. After the second appointment, we're not thinking about going back, but now we're very disappointed that we could have detected it in time and not be in this situation with the baby on the way.
