Hello! I am Dr. Isabel Esparza, a dentist who completed my Specialty in Orthodontics at the University of Guadalajara. I provide general dentistry services, and my practice is focused on the areas of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. I treat children, adolescents, and adults. My intervention with child patients begins at 5 years of age for the prevention, detection, and intervention of anomalies in the facial or dental development, often starting with removable, fixed, or extraoral orthodontic appliances. In adolescent patients, I assess the possibility of skeletal intervention when they present an anomaly in the development of the maxillary bones, depending on the growth stage the patient is in, and begin correcting present or developing malocclusions. For patients without remaining growth or adults, treatment focuses on the dental correction of their malocclusions, as well as facial or skeletal alterations, working in conjunction with a Maxillofacial Surgery specialist. Always aiming for correct function, harmony, and aesthetics. I also begin interventions in patients of different ages who present with bad habits affecting the correct development or position of their teeth and/or maxillary bones, such as oral breathing, finger sucking, lip sucking, onychophagia (nail biting), bruxism, among others. My orthodontic treatments are performed with high-quality brackets, both metallic and aesthetic, of conventional and self-ligating types. When required, additional devices such as skeletal anchors with miniplates or mini-implants, maxillary expanders, distalizers, or protrusors are used. I also have various certifications to offer my patients the option of treatment with transparent aligners, including Invisalign®. All patients are evaluated individually to create a detailed plan tailored to their specific needs. I am constantly preparing and updating myself by attending national and international courses and congresses. I offer services in other specialties such as third molar surgery, dental restorations, partial or complete oral rehabilitation, periodontics, and endodontics, each performed by excellent specialists who are part of my multidisciplinary team.
