Paulina Lopez Uribe, physiotherapist graduated from the Universidad del Valle de México, Zapopan campus in 2017. With experience in attending to people with amputations since 2016 as a volunteer with Tecnologias para la Comunidad, providing physical rehabilitation to people with lower limb amputations. Co-founder and deputy director of Proactible; a center specialized in care for people with amputations, with more than 500 hours of therapy provided in pre-prosthetic and post-prosthetic processes. In 2022, she participated in the presentation "Integral care of the lower limb amputee patient in Mexico" at the first congress of the Community of people with amputations (COPA) held in Zapopan, Jalisco. In 2023, she was a speaker in the Traumatology and Orthopedics diploma organized by IUVARE in the module "Rehabilitation and prosthetics of the patient with lower limb amputation." Co-author of the "Manual for the beginning of people with lower limb amputation (2023)" which explains the importance of the first care to be taken into account right at the moment of suffering an amputation.
