Extracapsular cataract extraction after vitrectomy in Mexico

Extracapsular cataract extraction is a surgical technique to remove a clouded lens through a larger incision while leaving the lens capsule partially intact. This procedure is performed after vitrectomy, which is prior surgery to remove the gel from the back of the eye.
