Probing of congenital nasolacrimal duct obstruction is a surgical procedure where a thin instrument is passed through the tear drainage system to open a blocked nasolacrimal duct in infants. This procedure is performed to restore normal tear drainage and relieve symptoms of excessive tearing and discharge.
