Simple vulvectomy is a surgical procedure that involves the removal of all or part of the vulva, typically performed to treat vulvar cancer, severe vulvar intraepithelial neoplasia, or other vulvar pathology. The procedure may be performed with or without removal of underlying tissue and lymph nodes depending on the extent of disease.
