Tumoral embolization of active and gynecological-obstetric bleeding in Mexico
Tumoral embolization is an interventional radiology procedure that uses imaging guidance to inject embolic agents into blood vessels supplying tumors or areas of abnormal bleeding to stop blood flow and control hemorrhage. This technique is commonly used to treat active bleeding in gynecological and obstetric emergencies such as postpartum hemorrhage or bleeding from uterine tumors.
