Peritoneal dialysis in Mexico

Peritoneal dialysis is a treatment for kidney failure in which a special fluid is infused into the abdominal cavity through a catheter to remove waste and excess water from the blood. This procedure allows the peritoneal membrane in the abdomen to act as a filter when the kidneys can no longer function properly.
